It looks good to me. Do they have a trailer in English? I wonder if they’ll have it in English subtitles when it comes to DVD. And how would I go about finding this film on DVD?

First, I thought Inascifi to read as :

ina-scifi
inas-cifi (what is cifi ?)
inasc ifi (just like the name of bank that is recently collapsed)

but it should be changed into ina-sci-fi, then people would understand that is indonesian science fiction, OK?

Change it ?

Indonesian Star Trek maybe the longest sci-fi community that exist in Indonesia. Started in 1995 with USS Batavia founded by Monang Pohan, and then the second generation founded an e-groups called Trekkieslist, and then the biggest wave at the third generations, founded by Ismanto, and the think tank team consist of Akhmad, Syaiful, Erianto and Bowo. Why the Star Trek community very exist? Because it is not just a movie, Star Trek is the way of life, it is the future civil society utopia in our dreams.

I will focus on science fiction in general. Film reviews will be written on those I’ve watched.

I really want to watch The Glitch, but the reviews are awful, and my friend suggested me I wait for it air in TV.

Setuju sih, Jaka.
Saya sendiri belum menonton film ini.
Tadinya udah mau siap-siap mengorbankan 20rb hanya untuk mengetahui ‘hits’ dan ‘miss-nya’ film ini, sekalian jadi contoh kasus untuk produksi-produksi fiksi ilmiah lokal masa depan.

Sayangnya, terakhir saya cek di 21cineplex.com hanya tinggal Buaran 21 (Jakarta Timur) yang masih menayangkan film ini.

Kayaknya masih terperangkap sama snobbism yg melanda dunia perfilman baru. Berat kalo ngga ada konsultasi sama ahli di bidangnya langsung. Film ini kelihatannya kurang pendalaman, padahal kalo mau banyak yg bisa digali dari science modern:
* superepidemi (Indonesia kan orangnya masih jorok2)
* gangguan navigasi di selat makassar (terkenal sbg “Bermuda Triangle”nya Indonesia
* manusia purba yg ternyata masih hidup di pulau terpencil
* dst.

saran gw: banyak2 konsultasi sama orang2 National Geographic buat brainstorming.

I’ve heard much about this film. According to Empire magazine (Australia), Keannu considered heavily about taking his role in the film, because he’s usually against remakes.

Interestingly, my friends seem to say that the film lack a bit.. sense.

I haven’t yet seen it.
